Under the new microchipping law that came into effect on 6th April 2016, it is a legal requirement for all dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets to be microchipped & registered by the age of 8 weeks. A grain of rice sized chip is inserted under the animals skin between the shoulder blades.

Vaginal Cytology is a quick & painless procedure that is performed when a dog is in season, to determine when they are ovulating and ready to breed. A small swab is taken from cells lining the vaginal wall and analysed under the microscope for instant results. The test detects ovulation.

Semen analysis is a non invasive procedure to test the quality and mobility of your dogs sperm to ensure healthy litters & that your stud dog is viable to use. When collecting semen for analysis we use the rich fraction to ensure no dilution and instant results are shown on screen. We test semen under a microscope looking at motility (standard & progressive), bacteria and velocity.

We can prepare & chill semen ready for shipping within the UK. Our dog semen chill box's and 10 day extender ensures semen stays viable during transport, maximising fertility potential. We do not ship overseas.

DeShedding is the process of removing hair from your pets undercoat, which may not have effectively been removed with normal brushing or combing. DeShedding helps reduce the amount of hair your pet sheds around your home. We offer deshedding days on weekends only pre booked.

Pregnancy can be detected by scanning 28 days from ovulation or 30-32 days after mating. An ultrasound scan does not cause harm, discomfort or involve radiation. We can provide an approximate puppy count and estimate due date. We provide you with images & videos. Ultrasound scans can detect resorption of puppy's & Pyometra (a life threatening uterine infection).
